OSCE intends to make every effort into resumption of mission in Georgia, said President of OSCE Parliamentary assembly Joao Soares after the meting with Georgian Premier Georgy Baramidze, GHN reports.

“We have always backed presence of observation mission in Georgia and now we are trying to reach accord through consensus and have the monitoring back to the conflicting regions,” Soares stated.

Baramidze emphasized that Georgia is ready to consider all possible options for resumption of OSCE observers’ mission.

According to him, their presence at the country’s elections to local government pending end of May will reduce threat of provocations by pro-Russian forces.
