The White House spokesman Tommy Vietor informed that administration reckons Israeli plans in Jerusalem will hurt the Middle East peace process. He maintained that the U.S. calls both people in Israel and Palestine to refrain from any moves that might disturb confidence, as the Obama administration seeks to jumpstart the slowed down process.

The official did not comment on whether President Obama and Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu discussed building project in the course of their meeting in the White House this Tuesday.
