Commenting on US Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch’s meeting with representatives of the Armenian community in los Angeles, California, the Asbarez daily writes: “Speaking at a press conference at the Glendale Hilton on Friday, US Ambassador to Armenia Marrie L. Yovanovitch dodged the Armenian Genocide issue, deferring to President Obama’s April 24 statement as US policy. In response to questions from Asbarez English editor Ara Khachatourian, Yovanovitch said the President’s statement, which avoided the word Genocide, is US Policy”.

NEWS.am, reported earlier that the US Ambassador to Armenia is in the USA, holding meetings with representatives of the Armenian community. The Ambassador will participate in a community forum tonight at “Avedissian” Hall of Ferrahian School. During the forum, which is open to the public, Yovanovitch will address the community, followed by a question and answer session.
