YEREVAN. – A total of 475 million drams (around US$1 million)—that is, same as in the current year—will be allocated in 2017 from the state budget of Armenia, to support exports.

The aforementioned is noted in the country’s 2017 State Budget draft, whose committee discussions are still in progress in the National Assembly.

With these funds, it is planned to especially subsidize the loans of Armenia’s exporters, and to help them in paying certification costs.

Another objective is to provide information on the target markets of these exporters, and to assist in the promotion of Armenian products.
