YEREVAN. – The 3.2-percent economic growth in Armenia is adequate for 2017, Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan on Thursday stated in Parliament.

Reflecting on the draft of the country’s state budget for the coming year, the minister noted: “This is not a transfer, but a stabilization  budget. We can’t collect four to five targets all at once.

“There is no such country which immediately records [economic] growth after negative indicators; time is needed to recover. For that reason, the 3.2-percent growth noted for 2017 is adequate.”
