We are paying less attention to the development of domestic tourism.

President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, stated the aforesaid at the consultation he held in Jermuk town, to discuss the tourism development issues of the country.

Several officials attended and delivered respective reports during the consultation.

Sargsyan, for his part, stressed that despite some positive results achieved in the tourism sector of Armenia, there still is a great potential in this sector that is not completely discovered.

The President also spoke about the avenues for tourism development in Armenia and the respective preconditions that have been created.

As a result of the consultation, Serzh Sargsyan gave several instructions to the officials in attendance.
