The Ministry of Emergency situations of Armenia received information, on Saturday at 11:06pm.
Accordingly, a train had collided with a car on the Yeghvard-Charentsavan railway, there were affected, there was a natural gas leakage, and rescuers were needed.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
It was found out that a freight train, which was en route from capital city Yerevan to Sotk village in Gegharkunik Province, and a vehicle, with N. A. (born in 1993) behind its steering wheel, had collided on the Charentsavan-Karenis motorway.
The fire and rescue workers cut the electricity of the car, and closed the valve of its compressed natural gas cylinder.
