YEREVAN. – Garnik Ektubaryan, 22, who was injured in a traffic accident on New Year’s Eve in Syunik Province of Armenia, has died in hospital. 

Police news service informed that information was received, on December 31, that a vehicle—driven by Albert Gh., 25—had gone off road in Goris town, and hit a tree. 
As a result, the passenger, Ektubaryan, had suffered injuries and was rushed to Goris hospital. 

And on Wednesday at 4:55am, information was received from “Erebouni” Medical Center, in capital city Yerevan, that Garnik Ektubaryan had died in hospital.
The investigation into this incident is in progress.
