A serious accident took place in Armenia’s Lori province on the night of Saturday.

The alert on the accident, which took place on the 3rd km of Stepanavan-Vanadzor motorway, was received at 02:19 am, the press-service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed Armenian News – NEWS.am.

As it turned out, the Volkswagen Golf (license plate number: 35 AU 637) driven by Karen M., 43, had collided with a Seat (license plate number: 35 LP 019) driven by Tigran B., 32.

Consequently, the 63-year-old passenger of Volkswagen Golf had immediately died.

Both drivers, as well as the passengers of Volkswagen Golf, Ruslan P., 32, Vladimir P., 9, and passenger of Seat, Gagik E., 37, were hospitalized.
