The German police evacuated the personnel of the municipality, where according to an anonymous call a bomb had been placed, reports DW. The policed received the call, after the Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ’s speech in Gaggenau had been cancelled. According to the caller, it was a revenge for cancelling the speech. Though, the police did not find any explosive device in the building.

As reported earlier, the German authorities banned the Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ to hold a speech. As a result, the Turkish foreign ministry summoned the German ambassador in Ankara. In response, the German Foreign Ministry urged Ankara to avoid any overt confrontation proceeding from the interests of the two countries. The relations between Berlin and Ankara escalated again after the German journalist of Turkish origin Deniz Yucel had been arrested in Istanbul.
