A car blast killed two people in Qatif city in eastern Saudi Arabia late on Thursday, Xinhua reported.
As the local media noted, the blast happened when the car was transporting ammunition and explosives to Al Awamiyah in Qatif, leaving two dead, the report said, adding that the victims are "fugitives" being sought by the kingdom's security services.
An investigation is underway.
