The Iskander-M tactical-operational missile systems of the Russian Ministry of Defense were used in the military exercises in Tajikistan, and they were launched outside Russia for the first time, reported RNS news agency.
These Iskander missiles were launched within the framework of the Dushanbe-Anti-Terror-2017 joint counterterrorism military exercises of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries, including Armenia.
