At least four people including three police officers were killed and six more were injured in an hours-long prison shootout involving inmates and security forces in a northern Mexican border state, ABC News reported.
Police and soldiers were mobilized to try to restore order.
"The operation continues," State security spokesman Alberto Rodriguez said.
