On July 3, Azerbaijani President Ilkham Aliyev held a meeting with Armenian and Azerbaijani Ambassadors to Russia, Armen Smbatyan and Polad Byul-Byul Oghly, as well as with Armenian and Azerbijani intellectuals, reported Bakililar.AZ.

President Aliyev stated that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can only be settled on the principle of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, with a status of autonomy to be granted to Nagorno-Karabakh.

Before visiting Baku, the Armenian and Azerbaijani Ambassadors to Russia, as well as RF Special Presidential Representative for International Cultural Cooperaton Mikhail Shvydkoi, visited Stepanakert, where they held a meeting with President of the Ngorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Bako Sahakyan. Later, RA President Serzh Sargsyan received the delegation in Yerevan.
