YEREVAN. – The prospects and opportunities for the development of Sevan Startup Summit tent camp business forum were presented to Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan during a consultation at the government building of Armenia. 

It was noted that Sevan Startup Summit 2017 hosted around 4,000 participants and guests from 23 countries, press office of the government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The deals that were closed at this tent camp business forum exceeded $200 thousand, and its prize fund went beyond the $40 thousand that was planned, and reached $50 thousand.

In 2018, Sevan Startup Summit plans to expand its geographical scope and to hold several events in various countries, and under the name Seaside Startup Summit. 

PM Karapetyan welcomed the holding of Sevan Startup Summit, and stressed that the Armenian governments stands ready to provide the necessary assistance to its organizers.
