President of the Republic of Cyprus Dimitris Christofias and his spouse Elsie Chiratou arrive in Yerevan today, July 6 on a 2-day official visit at the invitation of RA President Serzh Sargsyan. The presidents will have a tête-à-tête meeting followed by enlarged meetings, presidential press service informed NEWS.am.

In the evening the Armenian President and First Lady Rita Sargsyan give a formal dinner in honor of the guests. Within the framework of the program the meetings with RA Prime-Minister Tigran Sargsyan, His Holiness Catholicos Karekin II, Mayor of Yerevan Gagik Beglaryan, honorary freemen of Yerevan and a visit to the Yerevan History Museum are planned. Dimitris Christofias will also honor the memory of the victims of Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Empire in 1915.
