YEREVAN.- The average rate made AMD 376.12/$1 on NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Tuesday, a 0.45 point or 0.11% increase as compared with Monday.
Interestingly, at today’s press conference the head of Armenia’s Central Bank (CBA) Arthur Javadyan said that AMD rate is more stable than euro or dollar in the world market.
Javadyan’s remark they could not allow AMD to become “very strong” was made before the close of stock trading but most likely did not affect the market. Sales totaled $ 3.9 million.
Exchange offices purchase US dollar at the rate of AMD 375.5/$1, and sell at AMD 377/$1.
