YEREVAN. – Members of “Let’s choose life” initiative arranged a motion to reduce the number of increasing suicides, members of the initiative told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The members of the initiative will put letters on the bridges and distribute leaflets in Yerevan. It gathered many people wishing to participate in the action through the Facebook social network.

“Only humans can think, love, laugh, imagine speak pray and do many other activities in the space. You are a miracle, perfect individual to run his own destiny. You can carry out your ideas. And finally you and me can improve both our and others’ quality of life. You have the choice and opportunity. You can choose the right decision using opportunities reasonably. My friend let’s choose life and not death,” reads the letter.

Armenia recently registered increased number of suicides, especially among young people. Experts, psychologists are concerned on this issue.
