YEREVAN. – Union of Armenian Youth organized a motion and sit-in for the protection of the liberated territories of Karabakh on Friday in Yerevan.

The motion will start its twenty-four hours sit-in at the Armenian Foreign Ministry at noon.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the Union released a declaration.

“It was clear from the statements of OSCE Minsk Group and other international organizations dealing with the Karabakh issue that a document, prepared to sign by the foreign ministries, requires that Armenian side returns 4000 square km area in Southern and Eastern parts of Karabakh at the first stage of conflict resolution. Secondly, it requires gradual return of the Qarvachar region, and finally determination on the legal status of the small segment (Berdzor).

All these requirements are absolutely unacceptable. Signing the document will collapse Karabakh [Artsakh], whole Armenia and Armenian nation. We are decisive and sure that our generation will not allow it,” the declaration reads.
