YEREVAN. - Armenian Ministry of Justice high rank official had an argument with Yerevan Traffic Police officers on the crossroads of Garegin Njdeh and Sevan streets on Thursday.

According to the witnesses the driver of Hundai 01 ՍՍ 055 Artak Ghazaryan, head of Civil Status Acts Registration Agency of Armenian Ministry of Justice,  tried to drive through a part of road previously blocked by traffic police for painting works. To the policemen’s warning that the road is blocked Ghazaryan responded that he isn’t going to obey anyway.

“I will do whatever I want. They gave you all the straps and I am going to tear them of,” threatened the official.

After 30 minutes of dispute Artak Ghazaryan was apprehended by Shengavit police department officers. His car was taken to the impound lot of police.

According to our sources the police will file a report to Special Investigation Service.
