The Yerevan Police on Monday received a call from "Armenia" Republican Medical Center that a prisoner who had been brought to this hospital from Nubarashen Penitentiary—and with a diagnosis of exogenous poisoning and closed craniocerebral injury—had died at the medical center.

The police found out that the deceased was inmate Gevorg A., 57, shamshyan.com, reported.

Materials on the incident are being prepared.

A forensic medical examination of the body was ordered.

The prisoner had been taken to the aforesaid hospital on March 23.
