On the way from Istanbul to Ankara, a regular bus caught fire. According to local media, 40 people were in the transport at the time of the fire, REN TV reports.

Fortunately, all passengers managed to evacuate in time. The driver noticed the fire in time and stopped on the side of the road. According to the Turkish newspaper Huriyyet, the fire in the bus was extinguished after about an hour.

For a while, part of the road to Ankara was blocked. After the successful completion of the incident, all passengers traveled to Ankara, but on a different bus.

Turkish services will investigate the incident.
