At around 8:10pm Thursday, 911 emergency hotline and the Police of Armenia were informed that an unpleasant smell was coming from an apartment in a Yerevan building, and its residents had not responded to the door bell and phone calls for several days, shamshyan.com reported.

Opening the door of this apartment—with the help of locksmiths—, the rescuers who were dispatched to the scene found one dead body on the floor of the balcony and another—on the floor of the bathroom of this apartment.

According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic doctor, no traces of violence were found on these bodies.

Forensic medical examinations have been ordered.

The police and investigators have found out that these deceased are brother and sister: Ashot Vardanyan, 57, and Ashkhen Vardanyan, 53.
