According to the 2022 State Budget, a total of 89 hectares of water-logged plantations on the shores of Lake Sevan were planned to be cleaned by the end of the year; but instead, it will be possible to clean only up to 64.8 hectares. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned about this from a decision made at Thursday's Cabinet session of the government of Armenia.
And taking this into account, the government made a decision today to redistribute, among other state non-profit organizations of the Ministry of Environment, a total of 25.8 million drams (approx. $64,600) from the 128 million drams (approx. $320,660) that were allocated for this project.
