Gevorg Papoyan, chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and an MP from the ruling Civil Contract Party, presented Armenia's 2017-2023 state budget expenditures on his official Facebook.

Thus, according to him, the 2023 state budget turned out to be the largest in Armenia's history. Its spending part amounted to 2.59 trillion drams or more than $6.4 billion.

"This is more than the 2018 budget by as much as 79%," Papoyan wrote.
