YEREVAN. – Oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) activists Davit Kiramijyan, Vahagn Gevorgyan and Sahak Muradyan were invited to Armenian Special Investigation Service on Tuesday, where they undergone violation, they told at ANC office the same day after going out of the Service.

They were accompanied by the barrister Stepan Voskanyan. According to Gevorgyan, they were invited them for the interrogation connected to the incident between ANC activists and police on August 9.

 “The investigator offended us. We tried to go out, but he threatened that will arrest us. Then I underwent violation. We tore the visit cards and left the Service. We rejected the investigative actions,” Gevorgyan testified.

ANC activists were detained on August 9 as a result of an incident with police. All the activists were released later except Tigran Arakelyan, who is arrested.
