YEREVAN. – Armenian government decided to allocate AMD 11.1 million to Armenian Ministry of Culture to organize events dedicated to the 15th anniversary of introduction of Armenian self-governmental system and Frityoff Nansen’s 150th birthday anniversary.

Outcomes of 10 events dedicated to the 15th anniversary of introduction of Armenian self-governmental system will be completed with November 10 celebrations.

A commission headed by Armenian vice PM Armen Gevorgyan will be established to organize events dedicated to famous scientist, public activist and humanist Frityoff Nansen’s 150th birthday anniversary. The event is scheduled for November 9. It will be followed by the opening ceremony of Nansen’s monument with the participation of Armenian and Norwegian FMs.
