YEREVAN. – Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan on Tuesday received fifty citizens, who presented their concerns to the Minister.

The parents of military servicemen who died in times of peace received clarifications directly from the Minister with respect to the criminal cases launched into their sons’ deaths. Listening to the parents’ observations concerning the investigations, Seyran Ohanyan instructed the respective departments to carefully study the parents’ considerations, regarding the investigations, and to present expert conclusions.

Other participants in the meeting were disabled military servicemen, war veterans, military servicemen’s parents, and relatives of fallen war veterans. Their primary concerns referred to social, healthcare, and housing issues. The Defense Minister responded positively to majority of the citizens’ queries, MOD Information and Public Relations Department informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
