YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Police Force had received information, on December 17, 2011, that a VAZ 2106-model car was stolen in capital Yerevan. And two days later, the police found the vehicle outside Ashtarak city.
Mikayel Markosyan, 30, was detained Friday. He confessed to stealing the automobile, and subsequently disassembling its four wheels, battery, and natural gas tank, the Police Force informs.
An investigation is underway.
