YEREVAN. – Head of Armenian parliamentary opposition Heritage group MP Styopa Safaryan participated in the Euronest Energetic Security Committee meeting in Brussels on Thursday.
The main issue of the agenda was the presentation and discussion of the project report in the upcoming meeting in April in Baku, Heritage press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Safaryan presented the co-authors some omitted facts regarding Armenia, in particular on the process of stress-testing of the Armenian Metsamor nuclear power plant with the EU, during the discussion of the ‘Energy security, energy recovery, energy efficiency: developments in the EU and Eastern Partnership countries’ report.
Safaryan stressed importance of the issue of fulfilling the states’ obligations assumed by all norms of the international law and various conventions in the implementation of regional energy projects.
