YEREVAN. – “The Bible says God’s name shall not be taken in vain, but Gagik Tsarukyan [the ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader] regularly takes God’s name during the [parliamentary election] campaigns.
In this regard, Aravot daily asked Chairman of the Politologists’ Union of Armenia, Hmayak Hovhannisyan, who is included in the PAP’s [election] list, as to how this could be explained,” the daily writes.
“Hmayak Hovhannisyan answered: ‘He is compelled to give the name of so many devils that he will have to take God’s name to receive atonement for his sins,’” Aravot writes.
