YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Rescue Service received a call from the Police, on Tuesday at 8:44pm, informing that glass tiles were hanging from a building in capital city Yerevan’s Northern Avenue, one of the tiles had already fallen down, several other tiles were posing a threat to the passersby, and that rescuers were needed.  

A special rescue squad, a Crisis Management Center operative team, and a firefighting latter were dispatched to the scene, the Rescue Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

A safety zone was established at the building’s courtyard. 

But it was found out that the suspended glass tiles at the building’s rooftop are firm and there is no danger of falling.
