YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Attorney General received on Wednesday the expert of the Combating ill-treatment and impunity project of the Council of Europe Eric Svanidze. Deputy Attorney General Aram Tamazyan and the Special Representative of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe to Armenia Silvia Zehe participated in the meeting as well. The sides discussed issues on peculiarities of the complaint-applications regarding the ill-treatment or violence against the witnesses, detained, arrested people in the police departments, Attorney General’s Office press service reports. The sides arranged to continue the cooperation and works targeted at developing the legal field taking into account the European criteria.
