YEREVAN. - Kotayk district court of first instance informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Meruzhan Avetyan's case is being examined by them. Resident of Kotayk region Meruzhan Avetyan, 22, was accused of having sexual relations with resident of Armavir region Taguhi Gasparyan who is under 16.   

The first court hearing took place on Sept. 4, while the next one is scheduled on Sept. 25. A lawsuit was brought against Meruzhan according to 141 article of criminal code.  

Meruzhan is arrested. The man had previously known that Taguhi is under 16.
