Armenia’s MFA building to become hotel – newspaper

YEREVAN. – “The authorities finally confessed that Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs building will be turned into a hotel. [Capital city] Yerevan’s Chief Architect Narek Sargsyan made such announcement yesterday [Monday], and informed that a new building will be constructed for MFA at the spot of the Justice Ministry’s former building,” Zhoghovurd daily writes and continues:     

“To note, Zhoghovurd daily had informed, on September 23, 2011, that the Government plans to sell the MFA building to Kempinski Hotels [luxury hotel] chain for $500 million. But the Government, the MFA, and the State Property Management Department were hectically denying these rumors.   

Today, however, they already confess that the MFA building will be turned into a hotel.”
