YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Premier Tigran Sargsyan attended official opening of the ArmProd EXPO trade fair, in which local food and beverage production companies and suppliers are participating.    

Sargsyan toured the exhibition and, during a briefing with news reporters, he noted that such events contribute to the development of production as well. “Our objective is to assist the domestic enterprises in finding new sales markets. There is no enterprise, which is participating in the exhibition, which doesn’t export its product, and this [that is, export] is our priority direction,” the PM noted.        

Tigran Sargsyan added that agriculture is the engine for this year’s economic growth in Armenia and the Government’s task is to maintain this rate of development.
