STEPANAKERT. – Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire, at the line of contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, around 250 times in the past week, during which about 1,200 shots were fired in the direction of Karabakh positions, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army reports.

The Defense Army vanguard units, however, honored the ceasefire agreement and confidently defended the military positions along the entire length of the line of contact, the Defense Army said in a statement.

Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire over 12,000 times since the beginning of this year.
