YEREVAN. – Armenian presidential contender, opposition Freedom Party Chairman, former PM Hrant Bagratyan has no doubt that he will triumph in the election that is slated for February 18. Bagratyan himself stated this during a press conference on Monday, and stressed that he will break that pyramid.
“I will create an Armenia that you will be proud of, and [also] be a little arrogant [about],” the presidential candidate pledged.
Bagratyan gave a positive assessment to the ongoing campaign season, added that he believes he is the sole contender that speaks “seriously” and, the more time there is, he will be able to speak that much more. In the presidential contender’s words, if the election is postponed, his rating will increase and, as per the former PM, this currently refers to a 30-40-percent rating.
Also, the presidential hopeful advised the European sociologists and the Armenian authorities not to “write” the ruling Republican Party presidential candidate, incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan’s rating more than 65 percent, since there is 35-percent poverty in Armenia.
“If the poor likewise are voting for the authorities, kudos to those authorities!” Hrant Bagratyan stated.
