YEREVAN. – Time will tell whether or not the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) Party to be created will become established. Political technologist Karen Kocharyan said this during a press conference on Wednesday.
Also, he expressed his bewilderment by the social liberalist direction this party has adopted.
And as for whether the ANC bloc will be restored, this, as per Kocharyan, depends on the political activities of its member parties and, also, on having a charismatic leader.
“If a charismatic leader is born and he brings that [social] electorate together, it [that is, the ANC bloc] will garner a serious percentage [of the votes] in the next parliamentary election,” the analyst noted.
Karen Kocharyan also stressed that the ANC bloc lost its constituents because it had entered into a dialogue with the ruling Republican Party (RPA) and the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP).
