YEREVAN. – Construction is making substantial contribution to Armenia’s economic development, Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan said.

On August 9, marked in Armenia as a Constructor’s Day, Premier Sargsyan addressed the constructors and architects.

“Constructer has long been one of the most important and challenging professions. The buildings designed and embodied by you, now serve our citizens,” Sargsyan said. “The Armenians are well aware of how a safe and secure home is valuable to a person. And this understanding you invest in your everyday work. We thank you for that.”

Prime Minister handed over medals to the professors of the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction, Armproject institute and representatives of construction companies.
