YEREVAN. – National Assembly (NA) President Galust Sahakyan on Monday received the members of a delegation that has arrived in Armenia to participate in an international conference on education.

Chinese Ambassador Tian Erlong also attended this talk, the NA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Sahakyan underscored the holding of such conferences. In his words, the implementation of educational programs, and the presence of schools that educate knowledgeable generations is a priority for the Armenian parliament.

“Having a high-quality educational system is important to our nation,” he added. “If there are leading schools in a country, that state is powerful.”

Ambassador Tian, for his part, noted that Armenian-Chinese relations are on a high level. He also expressed the hope that the aforementioned conference will further deepen bilateral cooperation in education.
