YEREVAN. – The obstacles before connecting to the power grid of Armenia should be eliminated, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting. 

Thus, he instructed the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment to conduct a monitoring—together with the Public Services Regulatory Commission—of the process of connecting to this grid, and to submit proposals toward facilitating this process.

In addition, as per the PM, the information on where and how to connect to the electricity, water, and natural gas networks in Armenia shall be available to developers, before starting construction.

“Businesses, or individuals, everyone shall have online access to these data,” added Karapetyan.
