YEREVAN. – Prime Minister of Armenia, Karen Karapetyan, extended a congratulatory message to renowned Russian-Armenian physicist Yuri Oganessian.

“I sincerely and wholeheartedly congratulate you in connection with the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry confirming by your name, oganesson, the new 118th chemical element of the Mendeleev Periodic Table.

“Our country and the entire Armenian people are proud of your scientific achievements. By your example, you inspire numerous scientists in the whole world and, of course, in Armenia,” the PM’s message reads, in particular.
