YEREVAN. -- The past year was full of worries and anxiety, with April was and July crisis in Armenia. However, some conclusions have been made, said Armenia’s ruling Republican party MP Karine Achemyan in an interview with  Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The April [war in Nagorno Karabakh] created contradictory feelings among our people. On one hand, we had victims, which was very bad, on the other hand, we realized that the young soldiers, who protect the border, are heroes; that is undeniable. Later, in July, the police unit has been seized, which certainly gave rise to a number of conclusions. I believe that we need to help, support each other. The conclusion is that the authorities performed poor over some issues, and as a consequence the government has been changed, ” Karine Achemyan said.

According to her, the government works in an extremely hard period.

“The government works in an extremely unfavorable period, as we approach new elections and the pre-election period does not help the government to perform its duties. Despite this, I think there already are some small changes, there is a progress,” Achemyan concluded.
