YEREVAN. – Overall 28,129 deaths were registered in Armenia last year, representative of National Statistical Service Karine Kuyumjyan said.
As compared to 2015, the number of deaths has increased by 0.9 %.
“In 2016 Armenia’s population decreased by 12,100 people or 0.4% as compared with the previous year,” Kuyumjyan added.
