EU authorities will give an assessment of the constitutional amendments in Turkey, expected to adopted by April 16 referendum. This was stated in the foreign and security policy of the EU Commissioner for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and the EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy Johannes Hahn, reports TASS.
" The proposed amendments, if approved at the referendum of 16 April, and especially their practical implementation, will be assessed in light of Turkey's obligations as an EU candidate country and as a member of the Council of Europe, " reads the document.
