At least 17 people were killed after a tour bus collided with a truck and burst into flames in Bavaria, Reuters reported quoting Frankenpost.

As AFP noted, the local police said on Twitter that "a number of people" had died with 31 people injured, some of them seriously. 

It was noted that 48 people were traveling on the bus when it slammed into a semitrailer near the Bavarian town of Munchberg early Monday.
