Floods caused by heavy rain killed 26 people in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, eight more people are reported missing, RIA Novosti reported quoting CCTV.
As a result of heavy rains, pouring since July 1, water level in the local rivers has considerably increased, floods have been registered in 13 cities.
Heavy rains and floods have affected lives of more than 1.88 million people, the authorities evacuated about 185,000 inhabitants to safe places.
