YEREVAN. – Ever since Tuesday, the air defense unit of the armed forces of Armenia is taking part in the joint military exercises being conducted in Russia.
Air defense units from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia are also engaged in these maneuvers, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The active phase of these military exercises, however, will get underway on September 4.
