YEREVAN. – Armenia lost four years by not signing the European Union (EU) Association Agreement in 2013.

Edmon Marukyan, a member of the National Assembly “Way Out” Faction opposition bloc of Armenia, stated the above-said at a press conference on Saturday.

“According to our assessments, during those four years, Armenia lost headway in a variety of domains,” he noted.

The opposition MP added, however, that progress was achieved in the preparations for signing this agreement.

As per Marukyan, Armenia has achieved the greatest success among the EU’s Eastern Partnership member countries, and it has fulfilled its respective tasks better than the others. In this connection, he noted that Armenia differs, in a good sense, from both Azerbaijan and Belarus.
